We are obsessed with family life after birth.

Hello! We're The Fourth Trimester Postpartum CIC (or The Fourth, as we like to call ourselves). Based in Newton Abbot, Devon, we're a non-profit dedicated to supporting mothers, postpartum people, and their families as they navigate life after birth.

We also believe that everyone supporting new families, from partners and grandparents to professionals like postpartum doulas, deserves the best knowledge and skills. Our mission is to grow the number of people offering crucial services in the postpartum period, and we do this by training aspiring postpartum professionals to, in turn, support families in those vital weeks and months after birth.

From our FREE Nurture & Nest & Treasure Basket parent groups to our Developmental Play Sessions - we have groups for all the ages of early childhood and parenting.

Breast Pump Hire

We know that sometimes having a breast pump can make a huge difference to your feeding journey. If you live in Kingsteignton and the surrounding area and are looking for a low cost way to get a breast pump, then why not hire one of our kits?

The Fourth Trimester Postpartum Doula Programme

The Fourth is also for anyone who supports people in their postpartum journeys.

We're on a mission to grow the number of people providing crucial support services to families in the postpartum period.

Are you looking to support families in the postpartum or you already supporting families but want to offer more?

If you believe, like we do, that the world should value mothers and birthing people and support them in those first transformational weeks and months after birth then why not take the next steps and train as a postpartum doula?
