The Fourth's postpartum doula training is created to enable you to connect with and develop that natural ability to care for others in their postpartum journeys. When we started The Fourth, we were really passionate about supporting both families in the first year after birth and those who support families. This is why we have family support and our doula training programme.
Since we’ve started, we are really proud of all the postpartum doulas who have trained with us and we love watching them grow and make a difference to all the wonderful families they support postnatally.
As the organisation has grown and matured, we have found ourselves working more directly with families which we ABSOLUTELY LOVE! We are a small organisation, and for us to grow our work supporting our wonderful postpartum families in Newton Abbot and beyond we have decided to pause our doula training programme for the time being.
We know that for some of you this may feel disappointed as you have been waiting for the right time to join our course. We didn’t want to completely leave you in the lurch and so we have one final offer before we pause the training at the beginning of 2026.
